Mahers Tarps was founded by owner and operator Darryl Maher over 25 years ago, right here in Leeton, NSW. After a long career as a truck driver, Darryl decided it was time to come home — to be present for his family and build something of his own in the community he loved.
His years on the road gave him first-hand knowledge of what makes a truly reliable tarp. He knew the frustration of poor-fitting, low-quality covers — so when he started Mahers Tarps, he set out to make the products he wished he’d had access to as a driver.
More than two decades later, Mahers Tarps has grown into one of the most trusted names for custom tarps, boat covers, shade sails, blinds, and auto upholstery across Leeton and the wider Riverina region. Darryl, his wife, and their dedicated team continue to serve farmers, tradies, boaties, and families with the same care and attention to detail they started with.
